God is the creator of all things, perfect and eternal, who is one God eternally existing in three distinct co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, conceive by the Holy Spirit. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit, and took on the fullness of human flesh in his incarnation. He is fully God and fully man, and he came to die for the sins of humanity on the cross, after which He was raised from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God, above every authority, power, and dominion, in this age and in the age to come. He is the head of the church, and He intercedes for those who would inherit salvation. We believe in the Holy Spirit, fully God, who glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts men of sin, regenerates the sinner, indwells, teaches, fills, transforms, and empowers believers for godly living and service. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are given and active for the edification and expansion of the church.
Our Lord Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return with His holy angels. At this time the dead will be bodily resurrected, and Christ will judge both the living and the dead. The Lord will raise believers to everlasting blessedness and joy, but unbelievers will be eternally separated and eternally punished.
The Bible, Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, authored through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, without error in its original manuscripts. They are the full revelation of God’s plan for salvation of man, and the divine and final authority for all of Christian faith, life, and practice.
Salvation is a work of God, available to all who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, on the ground of His shed blood on the cross and His resurrection. Those who believe are forgiven, justified, adopted, and are sealed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit continues His regenerative work in the believer through sanctification. Salvation will be complete upon the return of Christ, and believers will be resurrected and glorified with Him.
Man was created in the image of God, to live in peace and harmony with God and with one another. But due to sin of Adam, the whole human race fell into sin, are hopelessly lost and destined for wrath apart from the grace of God in Christ Jesus.
