Blood is thicker than water. God knits a family through the cross of Jesus Christ, known as the Church. We are not a program, business, or a club but a family.. We love, protect, and serve one another.
God meets man at the Cross of Christ. Through the truth of the gospel, God our Father wants to bring us into a love relationship with Him in Christ Jesus.
We are on a mission. God calls all of us to be people of influence in every area of society we find ourselves for His kingdom-to make disciples of all nations. The Holy Spirit guides the believe and empowers him or her with spiritual gifts to accomplish God’s mission.
Actions speak louder than words. It is the Christian’s right, privilege, and destiny to be conformed to the image of Christ in his or her motives, thoughts, actions, affections, and the life direction. the Holy Spirit empowers the Christian to be more like Jesus.
The Korean church stands at a critical juncture. The division between the first-generation and second generation has become a heart-breaking reality in many churches. Our differing opinions have led to divisions and hurts. Many young Korean-Americans abandon the Korean-American church. Many even leave the faith. Those who stay are often too deeply indoctrinated in their Korean-Americanness, unable to influence beyond their culture of comfort and familiarity.
Neither are preferred outcomes here at our church.
Here at We The Redeemed, we want to be a flourishing multi-ethnic ministry that partners with the First-Generation Korean-speaking church to further the ministry of the gospel.
We believe we are better united than divided. We believe we can achieve more together than separately. We believe that the gospel of the most cohesive agent the world has known – it brings men and women together, despite our differences.
We live in a time in which Korean music, drama and entertainment has taken over the world by the storm. It is time for the Korean Church, both the first and second generation, to hold hands together in unity to become the church of global influence that God has called us to be.

God is the creator of all things, perfect and eternal, who is one God eternally existing in three distinct co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, conceive by the Holy Spirit. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit, and took on the fullness of human flesh in his incarnation. He is fully God and fully man, and he came to die for the sins of humanity on the cross, after which He was raised from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God, above every authority, power, and dominion, in this age and in the age to come. He is the head of the church, and He intercedes for those who would inherit salvation. We believe in the Holy Spirit, fully God, who glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts men of sin, regenerates the sinner, indwells, teaches, fills, transforms, and empowers believers for godly living and service. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are given and active for the edification and expansion of the church.
Our Lord Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return with His holy angels. At this time the dead will be bodily resurrected, and Christ will judge both the living and the dead. The Lord will raise believers to everlasting blessedness and joy, but unbelievers will be eternally separated and eternally punished.
The Bible, Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, authored through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, without error in its original manuscripts. They are the full revelation of God’s plan for salvation of man, and the divine and final authority for all of Christian faith, life, and practice.
Salvation is a work of God, available to all who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, on the ground of His shed blood on the cross and His resurrection. Those who believe are forgiven, justified, adopted, and are sealed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit continues His regenerative work in the believer through sanctification. Salvation will be complete upon the return of Christ, and believers will be resurrected and glorified with Him.
Man was created in the image of God, to live in peace and harmony with God and with one another. But due to sin of Adam, the whole human race fell into sin, are hopelessly lost and destined for wrath apart from the grace of God in Christ Jesus.
I am grateful that the Lord has led you to stumble upon our community. I hope that in your time here We the Redeemed will have been a family in which you felt the love of the Lord and the embrace of the God.
Throughout my walk with the Lord, I’ve come to realize that my life’s calling is to simply love God and bring the love of God to the broken people across the earth. This has led me to WTR in April of 2017 and I haven’t looked back since. It’s been a life-changing move for me and I look forward to walking with you and the WTR community through doing life together and encouraging one another towards a deeper love of God. I hope that through every encounter we have with one another, the love of God would overflow and turn hearts to the Lord.
I leave you with the Words of the Apostle Paul
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.” - Philippians 1:9-11
